Certain features require access to your device's microphone and/or camera.

Access is requested through the permission mechanisms provided by your operating system.

These permissions are used to enable recording and related interactive features.

The exact information collected may depend on the technologies and service providers used by the Service.

Where available, users may choose to sign in using third-party authentication services, such as Facebook Login or other supported login providers.

When you use such a service, we may receive information authorised by you and provided by the relevant service, such as your name, email address, public profile information or authentication identifier.

We do not receive your third-party account password.

Use of information by the third-party provider is governed by that provider's own privacy policies and terms.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data under one or more appropriate legal bases, including:

Performance of a contract – where processing is necessary to provide the Service requested by you.

Consent – where you have given consent for a particular activity, including certain device permissions where applicable.

Legitimate interests – where processing is reasonably necessary to operate, secure and improve the Service and those interests are not overridden by your rights.

Legal obligations – where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.

You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that lawfully occurred before consent was withdrawn.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell users' personal information.

Information may be processed by service providers that assist us in operating the Service, for example providers of:

• cloud hosting and storage;
• authentication;
• communications;
• infrastructure;
• analytics;
• crash diagnostics;
• content delivery; and
• other technical services.

Such providers may process information only for authorised purposes and subject to applicable contractual and data protection requirements.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, legal process or a valid request from an authorised public authority.

If the Service enables a user to intentionally share or collaborate on content, information and content selected for sharing may be made available to the recipients selected by that user.

7. User-Generated Content

You remain responsible for content that you record, upload, create or share through the Service.

Depending on the feature selected, user-generated content may remain private, be shared with selected users or collaborators, or be made available through another sharing mechanism expressly chosen by the user.

Users should not record, upload or share content that infringes the privacy, intellectual property or other rights of another person.

Further rules concerning user-generated content are described in our Terms of Service.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss or destruction.

Where appropriate, these measures include secure communications, access controls and other industry-standard security practices.

No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

9. International Data Transfers

Some service providers used to operate the Service may process information outside Norway or the European Economic Area.

Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers of personal data, such as adequacy decisions, contractual safeguards or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect legitimate interests.

User-created content may be retained while the user's account or relevant project remains active.

When an account is deleted, personal data and user-generated content associated with that account will be deleted or anonymised, except where retention is necessary or permitted for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting or regulatory purposes.

Information retained for such purposes will not be used for unrelated purposes.

11. Account and Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of their account and associated personal data.

Where account creation is available within the application, an account deletion option will be provided from within the application or through an accessible deletion process initiated from the application.

Users may also request deletion outside the application through our Account & Data Deletion page or by contacting:

support@myinteractive.tech

Deleting an account is permanent and may result in loss of projects, recordings and other information associated with the account.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

• request access to your personal information;
• request correction of inaccurate information;
• request deletion of personal information;

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

13. Children and Young Users

The Service may be used in educational environments.

Where services are specifically provided to schools, educational institutions or younger users, additional safeguards, permissions, contractual arrangements or parental/guardian consent may apply as required by applicable law.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in circumstances where parental, guardian, school or other legally required authorisation has not been obtained.

14. Third-Party Services

The Service may interact with third-party platforms or technologies.

Third-party services operate under their own privacy policies and terms. We encourage users to review those policies when choosing to use third-party functionality.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Service, technology, legal requirements or our data practices change.

The current version will be published on our website with its effective or last-updated date.

Material changes may also be communicated through the Service where appropriate.
